Does my baby have reflux? It can be quite hard to spot the symptoms, especially with silent reflux
These are some of the signs and symptoms to look out for:-
• Vomiting or spitting up
• Arching the back or neck and body goes rigid
• Irritability and pain
• Frequent hiccups, excessive dribbling
• Gurgling, gagging, choking episodes
• White coating on the tongue [not oral thrush]
• Excessive mucous, sinus congestion
• Raspy / wheezy cough, often worse at night

Your baby has lots of reflexes
Around 70 of them. These are primitive and down to evolution, including things like sucking and stepping – if you support your baby upright with his feet on a flat surface, his legs will work with a stepping motion. He obviously can’t walk now but may be born with a knowledge of how to for when he’s older.

Newborn children have their image uploaded to social media within an average of 57.9 minutes, according to a survey.
The poll found that parents were the most likely to upload pictures of the newborns (62 per cent), followed by other family members (22 per cent) and friends (16 per cent).
The most popular platform for displaying these first baby images wasFacebook, followed by Instagram and Flickr.

Hi Alison, I hope you're having a lovely bank holiday weekend. Just wanted to text as we're always thinking of you. Lukey is still sleeping great and everyone comments what a happy little soul he is. He hardly ever cries and is such a cherry little boy which is all thanks to you and the help and support you gave us. Tom and I even made it out for dinner last night, first time since he's been born! It would have been unimaginable before you came to see us. To top it off Lukey slept until 8.30 this morning!
