As a Grandma myself to 3 gorgeous grandchildren I found it interesting to see this article on Mumfidential about leaving your children with your parents. It can be difficult, some parents have different beliefs and ideals to their children and  it does make sense to spell out the boundaries for the benefit of both sides. Bed times need to be agreed along with any banned foods or activities. Home visits - availability!!

Just a  quick note to say that Alison has had 2 postponements for visits over the next week so if you were in need of urgent help and wanting to get back on track then get in touch now. Alison has the most amazing feedback from her visits with the last 2 families both saying what a positive difference she has made to their lives.  She genuinely loves helping and to her, its the most important part of what she does. Do shout if you are interested!

Meadowhall Sheffield Mini and Me Club Sleep Talk
Alison is going to be the guest speaker and the July Mini and Me club meeting on Friday the 3rd of July in the Meadowhall Centre in Sheffield. She will be presenting about sleep at 10:00 with a q&A session following on. Later in the day will be a live Q&A session via social media and hopefully a book signing session in one of the centres bookshops. We are really excited about her first trip to Sheffield and hope to meet as many people as possible!

A recent case study of my work
I was working with a little premature baby born 8 weeks early, now 9 weeks 'corrected' age - so 17 weeks since birth has awful reflux and milk protein intolerance. He has been treated with anti acid meds and is on Neocate thickened with Carobel but his reflux was still causing problems and he was difficult to feed, didn't sleep well and cried much of the time.....WHY?
