My Mission - Part one

My Mission - Part one
To dispel the belief that all babies do for the first few moths of life is eat, poo, cry and don't sleep................ The first two years are the most formative of our entire life, during which many of our behaviour patterns, habits and emotional responses are created, established and will stay with us for life. I don't believe that parents have to spend those first few months suffering from sleep deprivation. Babies are naturally programmed to sleep, we just have to show them how.

Childrens Parties - what's it all about?

Childrens Parties - what's it all about?
Being The Magic Sleep Fairy I have spent many hours at children's parties.  I'm also a - very young! - Grandmother and was at my grandsons 6th Birthday party earlier this month. In a local church hall, we catered for the 26 children whose parents had replied with an acceptance of the invite. Three parents didn't respond to the written invites at all, quite rude really - and two children didn't turn up and annoyingly no one let us know. It was frustrating that these two parents didn't let us know that  their children would not be comi...

Regular naps are "key to learning"

Alison was delighted to find some evidence based research which backs up her theory that 'Sleep is the key to Life' and so vitally important within the first years of life. Alison in action - what she does really works

Alison in action - what she does really works
As Alison's Business Manager, I  know what she does and how she does it and have always admired the great gift that she has with babies and children. As her sister, this weekend I had the pleasure if seeing her with her grandchildren and you can rest assured she practiced exactly what she preaches (although she doesn't preach to people, she lets them decide what is best for them!!). We played games, I got the be the reindeer in the "show" and we all sat down and ate dinner as a family. Getting 3 very excited children to bed was no mean ...
