I've been prompted write this as I'm currently working with a GP who has a baby with acid reflux and CMPI, is on Neocate with a strict non dairy or soya solid diet. However, they have been giving daily the OPTIBAC probiotic without realising that this brand and most other probiotics are derived from cows milk / dairy cultures. I was asked to come and see an 11 week old who sadly, just screamed and screamed much of the time, but especially at bedtime.......and when I say screamed - even I was a little taken aback.
